ادْعُ إِلَىٰ سَبِيلِ رَبِّكَ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَالْمَوْعِظَةِ الْحَسَنَةِ

“Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching, and reason with them in the best manner.”

An invitation, never a compulsion

The Qur’an is clear: “There is no compulsion in religion.” (2:256) This space exists to share, to explain, and to build understanding — with kindness, honesty, and genuine respect for the person we’re speaking with.

Islam shares deep roots with Judaism and Christianity — far more unites us than many realize.

One God

Belief in a single Creator who is merciful, just, and worthy of devotion.

The Prophets

Reverence for Abraham, Moses, David, and Jesus as messengers of God.

Honoring the Torah, the Psalms, and the Gospel among God’s revelations.

A shared belief that our choices matter and that we answer to God.

The Afterlife

Hope in life beyond death, and in God’s justice and mercy.

Charity, honesty, family, humility, and care for the poor and the stranger.

A point of connection

Jesus (‘Isa) in Islam

Many are surprised to learn how deeply Islam honors Jesus. Muslims believe in Jesus as a mighty prophet and messenger of God, born miraculously of the Virgin Mary (Maryam) — who has an entire chapter of the Qur’an named after her. Muslims await his return, and no Muslim’s faith is complete without love and respect for him.

Where Islam differs — understanding Jesus as a prophet rather than divine — it does so out of its central teaching of the oneness of God, not out of any disregard for him.

Listen first

Seek to understand before seeking to be understood. Respect is the foundation of every real conversation.

Speak with wisdom

Share the best of what we believe with gentleness and good character — the strongest invitation is a life well lived.

Leave the outcome to God

Our role is to convey with sincerity and kindness. Guidance itself rests in the hands of Allah alone.
