Du‘ā’
Du‘a is the believer’s direct, personal conversation with Allah — asking, thanking, and seeking help, at any moment, in any language.
وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ
“And your Lord says: Call upon Me; I will respond to you.”
— Qur’an 40:60
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
“Rabbanā ātinā fid-dunyā ḥasanah, wa fil-ākhirati ḥasanah, wa qinā ‘adhāban-nār.”
“Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.” (2:201)
حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ
“Ḥasbunallāhu wa ni‘mal-wakīl.”
“Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.” A du‘a of trust in times of worry and hardship. (3:173)
Dhikr
“Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.” (13:28) Simple words, endless reward.
Never despair
Whatever a person has done, the door of return is always open. Allah’s mercy runs ahead of His justice, and He loves those who turn back to Him.
قُلْ يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَىٰ أَنفُسِهِمْ لَا تَقْنَطُوا مِن رَّحْمَةِ اللَّهِ
“Say: O My servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins.” (39:53)
Shukr
This is the very spirit of our name. From the breath in our lungs to the guidance in our hearts, life overflows with the blessings of Allah.
لَئِن شَكَرْتُمْ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ
“If you are grateful, I will surely increase you.” (14:7)
